Warranty Policy

TERRE stands behind the quality of its products. This page explains what our limited warranty covers, what it does not cover, and what information is needed to review a claim.

Warranty at a Glance

  • Warranty term: 1 year from the date of purchase
  • Coverage: defects in materials and workmanship under normal use or service
  • Who is covered: original purchaser
  • Exclusions apply: normal wear, misuse, improper installation, fitment/application issues, and other non-defect conditions are not covered

Warranty Coverage

TERRE warrants to the original purchaser that eligible products supplied by TERRE are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use or service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear, routine maintenance, or conditions outside of a manufacturing defect.

If TERRE determines that a product is affected by a covered manufacturing defect, TERRE may, at its discretion, provide a replacement, refund, credit, or other appropriate resolution.

What Is Covered

  • Defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Eligible failures occurring under normal use and proper installation

What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Routine maintenance
  • Improper installation
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, shipping damage, handling damage, or warehousing damage
  • Modification or alteration of the product or any component
  • Improper maintenance
  • Application or fitment mistakes
  • Damage caused by abnormal operating conditions
  • Damage caused by dirt, dust, debris, or other abrasive material entering the product area due to improper maintenance
  • Bearing failure caused by grease removal during or because of washing or pressure washing a unit where the product is installed

Application and Suitability

While TERRE works to recommend the best part for customer needs, TERRE does not warrant the fitness of a product for a particular application or purpose.

Product life depends on the conditions under which the product operates and the care it receives. Certain applications, including mower decks, snow blowers, and pumps, may operate in dusty, dirty, or abrasive environments that can contribute to what appears to be premature wear.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty review, please contact TERRE support or submit a warranty claim with as much detail as possible so our team can evaluate the issue efficiently.

  • Order number
  • Product name and SKU, if available
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos showing the product and the problem area, if requested
  • Equipment or application details, if relevant

Claim Review and Resolution

Once a claim is received, TERRE will review the information provided and may request additional details to complete the evaluation.

If a claim is approved, TERRE may issue a replacement, refund, or credit at its discretion. For confirmed manufacturing defects, TERRE may also reimburse original shipping charges where appropriate.

If the issue is determined not to be covered under warranty, our team will communicate the reason and provide next-step guidance when possible.

Returns vs. Warranty Claims

Not every product issue is a warranty claim. If the item was ordered incorrectly, is no longer needed, or the issue relates to fitment or application rather than a product defect, the matter may fall under TERRE's Return Policy instead of the Warranty Policy.

For the fastest resolution, contact support with your order information so we can help route the request correctly.
